Shiloh Gone Crazy from elliott on Vimeo.
I am not sure where the sweet dog went that we got although he has been replaced with this very needy dog who barks at me requesting some action of which I am not quite sure although I can only guess it is to take him for walk. This more commonly happens or at least escalates when Elliott is gone. When Elliott is here after I do my round of consoling and petting and the barking continues Elliott will often step in and play with him for a while. To be completely honest he doesn’t start with the barking. He start by laying his head on my lap or if he can’t get to that on to my the arm of my chair. He will also nudge my elbow and arm with his noes as well. If I don’t then provide whatever mystery action it is he is requesting he then proceeds to bark. When I am in a good mood I find this behavior laughable and entertaining, in the middle of trying to get a project out I am not so receptive. The problem with dogs is the people teach them behavior so if I reward this with what he wants then he learns to bark for what he wants, not favorable. Although the other side is if he needs to go to the bathroom I would prefer he let me know rather than go on the floor - which hasn’t happened except for the first week or so we had him, thank goodness he never messes in the house.
So for your viewing pleasure and enjoyment here is a video of Shiloh gone crazy.
